Flannel Fings products are made in Australia from reclaimed fabric. Reclaimed fabric is fabric that is recycled from clothing or manchester that is no longer wanted or suitable for its current use. We purchase these items from charity centres - so buying our products will not only save you money and reduce your baby’s ecological footprint, but also support very important charities! Who would have thought buying for your baby could be so good! A huge amount of precious water and energy goes into growing and manufacturing fabric - so lets make sure we get the most out of it before it ends up in landfill! For example 10,000L of water is required to make a simple cotton t-shirt! Sadly, given today's 'disposable fashion' culture, many of these t-shirts are thrown out after being worn only a few times. |
